Spring Reflections
Mixed media on canvas
Strung ready to hang
Spring Reflections explores the shifting dialogue between landscape, light, and memory. Vertical bands of color suggest trees and water mirrored across a surface, while layered marks and soft blurs evoke the gentle movement of a spring breeze across a pond. Cool blues and greens are interwoven with hints of yellow and red, capturing the renewal and quiet energy of the season.
The painting is built through accumulation and erasure, allowing earlier layers to surface like fragments of perception. By abstracting the reflected forms, I invite the viewer to experience the sensation of looking rather than the certainty of what is seen. Spring Reflections is a meditation on change, growth, and the fleeting nature of light as it shifts across water and time.
